Common questions.
What does a finance broker do?
A finance broker assesses your circumstances, compares relevant options across multiple lenders and manages the application through to settlement. A bank can only offer its own products.
Can you help if I am self-employed?
Yes. Lenders assess business income, trust distributions and company earnings differently. Part of the work is matching your income structure to a lender whose policy suits it.
What is the difference between a commercial and a business loan?
A commercial loan is usually secured by commercial property. A business loan funds the operations of a business, such as working capital, equipment or an acquisition, and may be secured or unsecured.
What do I need to send to get started?
A short description of what you are trying to do and the approximate amount. Documents are only requested once your situation has been assessed and a lender strategy agreed.
Do you only work with clients in Sydney?
The office is in the Sydney CBD and lending is arranged for clients and properties across Australia.
How is a finance broker paid?
Brokers are generally paid a commission by the lender on settlement. Any fees payable by you are disclosed in writing before you proceed.
